A Message to Our Families Regarding COVID-19:

We’re taking the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak very seriously, as our top priority is keeping the families we serve and our staff members safe. Our business is still operating as usual, and we’re doing everything we can to keep our facility and equipment clean and sanitized. The National Funeral Directors Association also is giving us further information about how we can prevent the spread of this virus in our community.

We encourage you stay informed about this virus and how to stay safe. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website is a great place to start.

Community Events

The Lensing staff is actively involved in our community, not only as individual volunteers but as business members. Every year, Lensing's organize several events at our funeral homes, in addition to participating in other events throughout the area, especially in conjunction with Iowa City Hospice and the Crisis Center of Johnson County.

Testimonials

Many families reach out after the conclusion of the services to let us know how much our support and guidance meant to them in their time of need, and we’re honored to receive such heartfelt praise. We feel that these messages speak for themselves and we’d like to share them with you.
